Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of ingredients according to standardized recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment.
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Support the head chef and line cooks during service to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the kitchen supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
- Adhere to portion control and waste reduction practices to optimize costs.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper labeling and rotation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food service role (fresh graduates with culinary passion are welcome).
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in English or Indonesian.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP) is a plus.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
