Responsibility
- Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Support with inventory management, including stocking ingredients and supplies.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency in dish quality.
- Assist with table service, including setting up tables, serving dishes, and clearing plates.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the head chef or restaurant manager.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or hospitality setting is a plus (but not required for entry-level roles).
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for the culinary arts and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Fluency in English or Indonesian is beneficial.
