Responsibility
- Assist the Head Chef and kitchen team in daily food preparation and mise-en-place.
- Ensure all kitchen surfaces, cooking equipment, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety regulations.
- Support in managing food inventory, stock rotation, and storage.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency in every dish.
- Assist in the washing of dishes and maintenance of the kitchen area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere strictly to personal hygiene and food safety protocols (HACCP standards).
Qualifications
- Open to Malaysian citizens only.
- Prior experience in a commercial kitchen or hospitality environment is highly preferred, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a positive work ethic.
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Good communication skills in Malay or English.
