Responsibility
- Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, providing recommendations and upselling where appropriate to enhance the guest experience.
- Serve meals and drinks efficiently, adhering to established service standards and ensuring timely delivery.
- Anticipate guest needs proactively, addressing requests or concerns with a positive and solution-oriented approach.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations, to uphold hygiene and presentation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Handle guest feedback gracefully, escalating any issues to management when necessary to ensure resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events, private functions, or peak service periods.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a waiter/waitress or similar role within the hospitality or tourism industry.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and maintain composure under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail pairings, is advantageous.
