Responsibility
- Assist head chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to strict hygiene and food safety standards.
- Support in plating and garnishing dishes to meet the restaurant’s high presentation standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including mixers, grinders, and ovens, under supervision.
- Restock ingredients and supplies, ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked for service.
- Follow recipes and portion controls to minimize waste and maintain consistency.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, checking quality and freshness of ingredients.
- Participate in team training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices (training provided).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 10–15 kg.
- Good communication skills in English or Indonesian (both preferred).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and recipes.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is a plus but not required.
- Team player with a passion for food and customer satisfaction.
