Based in Bali’s most sought-after locations (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung), you’ll work alongside industry professionals, gaining exposure to high-standard food service practices, marketing strategies, and operational excellence. Ideal for hospitality students, culinary enthusiasts, or career changers, this role is designed to kickstart your journey in the world of food and beverage.
Responsibility
- Assist the Executive Chef in daily food preparation, plating, and kitchen operations under supervision.
- Support the Sales & Marketing team in promoting food service programs, events, and special menus.
- Help coordinate and execute food service activities, including buffet setups, catering, and guest interactions.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and workplace cleanliness in compliance with industry regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking supplies and tracking food service equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery during peak hours and special events.
- Contribute to menu development and customer feedback analysis to enhance service quality.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to expand culinary and hospitality knowledge.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related program (preferred but not mandatory).
- Passion for food service, customer satisfaction, and teamwork with a proactive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (certification is a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility for shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Familiarity with kitchen tools, food preparation techniques, or POS systems is advantageous.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a bonus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic hospitality setting.
