Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze financial markets, identifying trading opportunities across equities, forex, commodities, or derivatives.
- Execute trades based on proprietary strategies and market signals, ensuring adherence to risk management protocols.
- Collaborate with senior traders to refine trading models and optimize performance.
- Track and report on trade execution, profitability, and market trends.
- Maintain detailed records of trading activities and generate performance reports.
- Stay updated on global economic events, news, and regulatory changes that impact financial markets.
- Participate in daily team meetings to discuss market outlook and strategy adjustments.
- Contribute to the development of automated trading tools and algorithms under guidance.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong analytical skills with a passion for financial markets and trading.
- Basic understanding of trading concepts, technical analysis, or quantitative methods (prior experience or coursework is a plus).
- Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with trading platforms or data analysis tools (e.g., Bloomberg Terminal, Python, R).
- Excellent numerical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a proactive mindset.
