Responsibility
- Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Ensure consistent food quality and presentation in alignment with the restaurant's standards.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
- Enforce strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Develop and refine menu items in collaboration with the Head Chef.
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas.
- Step in for the Head Chef during absences, ensuring seamless kitchen management.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with a passion for innovative cuisine.
- Familiarity with Balinese or Southeast Asian cuisine is a plus.
