As a Junior R&D Process Development Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in refining and optimizing our production processes to ensure the highest quality, efficiency, and consistency in our iconic products. Responsibility
- Assist in the development, testing, and optimization of food manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct small-scale and pilot production runs to validate new formulations, ingredients, or process adjustments.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, or areas for improvement, and propose actionable solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Production, Supply Chain) to ensure seamless implementation of process changes.
- Prepare technical reports, SOPs, and documentation to support compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, FDA).
- Assist in troubleshooting production issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in food processing and R&D.
- Support scale-up activities from lab to commercial production, ensuring consistency and adherence to specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in R&D, process development, or food manufacturing (fresh graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply).
- Strong understanding of food processing principles, unit operations, and quality control.
- Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, or other food safety standards is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, or statistical software).
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision.
