Responsibility
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
- Document and report bugs, errors, and inconsistencies using tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Assist in developing and maintaining test plans, test scripts, and test data for new features.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to align with team goals.
- Perform regression testing to verify fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.
- Contribute to test automation initiatives (e.g., Selenium, Appium) under guidance.
- Analyze test results and provide clear, actionable feedback to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (fresh graduates encouraged to apply).
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., JIRA, Postman, Selenium) is a plus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to write clear, concise test cases and bug reports in English.
- Basic knowledge of programming/scripting (Python, Java, JavaScript) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively.
