Responsibility
- Conduct thorough assessments of elderly patients' physical conditions, mobility, and pain levels to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall well-being.
- Collaborate with senior physiotherapists, nurses, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility techniques, and pain management strategies to support long-term health.
- Assist in the development and implementation of group therapy sessions and wellness programs for elderly residents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in geriatric physiotherapy and incorporate best practices into patient care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Valid physiotherapy license or registration to practice in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- 0-2 years of experience in physiotherapy, preferably in geriatric or elderly care settings.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and common conditions affecting the elderly population.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
