Responsibility
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure network infrastructures.
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and potential security threats.
- Support the deployment of firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in penetration testing.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Troubleshoot network and security issues, providing timely resolutions.
- Document security incidents and contribute to incident response procedures.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption technologies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or CEH are a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
