Responsibility
- Assist senior designers in developing conceptual designs, space planning, and 3D renderings for residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare detailed drawings, mood boards, and material palettes to present design ideas to clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution from concept to completion.
- Conduct site visits to assess spaces, take measurements, and document existing conditions for design development.
- Source and specify furniture, fixtures, finishes, and decor that align with project budgets and design themes.
- Communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking clients to understand their needs, preferences, and feedback.
- Stay updated on design trends, materials, and technologies to bring fresh, innovative ideas to projects.
- Support in preparing project documentation, including presentations, reports, and cost estimates.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in interior design (internships or entry-level roles accepted).
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or 3ds Max.
- Strong knowledge of space planning, color theory, and material selection.
- Fluency in Mandarin (Chinese) and English (written and verbal) is a must.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and meet deadlines.
- Portfolio showcasing design projects (academic or professional) is highly preferred.
