Responsibility
- Develop and deliver interactive science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science) for junior high students.
- Create hands-on experiments and projects to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Assess student performance through tests, quizzes, and practical assignments, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-disciplinary units (e.g., integrating science with history or social studies).
- Utilize modern teaching aids and digital tools to support diverse learning styles.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and critical thinking.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events to communicate student progress.
- Stay updated on educational trends and curriculum developments in science education.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Botany, Zoology, Biology, Education (Major in Science/Social Studies), or a related field.
- Valid teaching license or certification (preferred but not mandatory for exceptional candidates).
- Proven experience in teaching science at the junior high level (fresh graduates with strong subject knowledge are welcome).
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills in English.
- Passion for student-centered learning and differentiated instruction.
- Familiarity with Montessori or inquiry-based teaching methods is a plus.
