Responsibility
- Monitor cloud security alerts and incidents, responding promptly to potential threats.
- Manage user access and permissions across cloud platforms to ensure least-privilege principles.
- Conduct routine security checks and vulnerability assessments to identify and address risks.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into cloud deployments.
- Document security incidents, investigations, and resolutions for audit and reporting purposes.
- Stay updated on emerging cloud security threats and recommend proactive measures.
- Participate in security training and awareness programs to enhance team knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their security features.
- Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
- Knowledge of network security principles, encryption, and access management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Security, or similar are a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
