Recruit Express is seeking a skilled Contract Data Analyst (Wellbeing Focus) for a 6-month engagement to support a prestigious university in Bali, Indonesia. Note: This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
Responsibility
- Collect, clean, and analyze wellbeing-related data from various sources, including student surveys, engagement metrics, and health records.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key wellbeing indicators, such as mental health trends, student satisfaction, and program effectiveness.
- Collaborate with university stakeholders to identify data needs and provide insights to support decision-making for wellbeing initiatives.
- Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities in student wellbeing data.
- Present findings and recommendations to non-technical audiences through clear, visually engaging reports and presentations.
- Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with university policies and regulations (e.g., GDPR, local data protection laws).
- Support the design and evaluation of wellbeing programs by providing data-driven feedback and performance metrics.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in data analytics, student wellbeing, and higher education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Psychology, Public Health, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in education, healthcare, or social sciences.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods (e.g., regression analysis, clustering, hypothesis testing).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with data privacy laws and ethical considerations in handling sensitive information.
- Experience working in education or wellbeing-related projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
