Responsibility
- Design, implement, and manage security solutions for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices for GCP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2).
- Provide security training and awareness programs for internal teams.
- Stay updated with emerging threats and security trends in cloud computing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on GCP.
- Strong knowledge of GCP security tools (e.g., Cloud IAM, Security Command Center, Cloud Armor).
- Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO 27001).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and security tasks.
- Certifications such as Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP, or CISM are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
