Responsibility
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Go (Golang) microservices to support high-traffic applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy backend features.
- Refactor and improve existing codebases for better performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and propose improvements to backend infrastructure.
- Mentor junior developers and assist in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and advocate for their adoption where applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of professional experience in backend development, with at least 1 year using Go (Golang).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, gRPC, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and caching systems (e.g., Redis).
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Proficiency in Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
