Responsibility
- Assist in conducting security assessments and vulnerability scans on applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats in a timely manner.
- Document security policies, procedures, and incident reports.
- Participate in security awareness training and educate team members on security best practices.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
- Support compliance efforts with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of application security principles and practices.
- Familiarity with common security tools and technologies (e.g., OWASP, Burp Suite, Nessus).
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of cybersecurity.
- Legal authorization to work in the Philippines.
