Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for financial accuracy and process optimization? Remote Staff is seeking a Job Costing & Reporting Specialist (Simpro) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring precise job costing, financial reporting, and data integrity within the Simpro software ecosystem.
Based in the vibrant regions of Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung), you’ll work remotely while collaborating with international teams. This position offers the perfect blend of stability, growth, and the flexibility to enjoy Bali’s unique work-life balance.

Responsibility
- Accurately track and analyze job costs, labor, materials, and overhead expenses in Simpro.
- Generate and distribute financial reports, including profit/loss statements, job cost summaries, and variance analyses.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure budget adherence and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain and reconcile job costing data, ensuring alignment with accounting records.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and adjustments.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to senior management as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in job costing, financial reporting, or a similar role (preferably in construction, trade services, or software-based costing).
- Proficiency in Simpro software is a major plus; experience with other ERP/accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is acceptable.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Philippine tax and labor regulations (TIN, SSS, Philhealth, Pag-ibig) is required.
- Clear and professional communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
