Responsibility
- Lead the finance transformation roadmap, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve accuracy through technology and innovation.
- Design and implement scalable financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP, FP&A software) to enhance operational efficiency and data integrity.
- Drive digital finance initiatives, including automation of manual processes, AI/ML integration, and advanced analytics for predictive insights.
- Collaborate with IT, operations, and executive leadership to align finance strategies with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the development of financial reporting frameworks, ensuring compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and internal policies.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard financial stability and growth.
- Monitor KPIs and financial performance metrics, presenting actionable insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CPA, CFA, or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (e.g., Finance Manager, Director) in a multinational or large-scale organization.
- Proven track record in finance transformation projects, including system implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) and process reengineering.
- Deep expertise in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (IFRS, tax laws) and risk management frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to drive change in complex environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or for a global company with operations in the region is highly desirable.
