Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for local and expatriate employees, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
- Oversee HR administrative tasks, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee record maintenance.
- Act as a liaison between Japanese management and local staff, facilitating clear communication and cultural alignment.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws and company policies in all HR and payroll activities.
- Coordinate office management tasks, such as vendor relations, facility maintenance, and workplace safety.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures tailored to a startup environment.
- Generate payroll reports and provide insights to management for decision-making.
- Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies in both Japanese and English.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll administration, HR operations, or general affairs.
- Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher) and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with payroll software (e.g., SAP, ADP, or local Indonesian payroll systems) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Indonesian labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Startup experience or adaptability to a dynamic, evolving work environment.
- Professional certification in HR (e.g., SHRM, PHR) is an advantage but not required.
