Responsibility
- Perform linguistic annotation of text, audio, and visual data to ensure accuracy and cultural appropriateness for Japanese users.
- Conduct comprehensive software testing across product features, identifying bugs, usability issues, and localization gaps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine user interfaces, translations, and content for Japanese markets.
- Document and report testing results, annotations, and feedback with clear, actionable insights.
- Validate machine learning models and AI-driven features to ensure they meet Japanese language and cultural standards.
- Participate in quality assurance (QA) processes, including regression and compatibility testing.
- Provide real-time feedback on user experience (UX) and suggest improvements for Japanese audiences.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in localization, NLP, and software testing to enhance product quality.
Qualifications
- Native-level proficiency in Japanese (written and spoken) is required; fluency in English is a plus.
- Proven experience in annotation, translation, or linguistic QA for Japanese content.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies (manual/automated) and tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify nuanced linguistic or cultural inaccuracies.
- Experience with localization, internationalization (i18n), or NLP projects is highly desirable.
- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and collaborative development processes.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills to articulate findings clearly.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
