Responsibility
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network systems to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Monitor and maintain network security, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data protection measures.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by employees, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and backups to prevent data loss and system failures.
- Assist in the setup and management of user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and upgrade IT infrastructure as needed.
- Document technical processes, troubleshooting steps, and solutions for future reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and office productivity software.
- Experience with network security principles and data protection best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to effectively assist non-technical users.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
