Responsibility
- Provide timely technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, servers, and peripheral devices.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in compliance with security policies.
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including LAN/WAN and cloud services.
- Document IT processes, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations for reference.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and address IT-related needs.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS, Microsoft Office Suite, and enterprise software.
- Familiarity with networking protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configurations.
- Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira) and remote support tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
