Responsibility

  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) on desktops, laptops, and servers.
  • Deploy, update, and troubleshoot business software and applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware issues for laptops, desktops, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Provide timely technical support to end-users, addressing inquiries and resolving IT-related problems.
  • Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in active directory or similar systems.
  • Monitor network connectivity and perform basic troubleshooting for LAN/WAN issues.
  • Conduct regular system backups and ensure data integrity and security.
  • Document IT processes, configurations, and resolutions for future reference.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience (1-3 years) in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar technical role.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and business software (Microsoft Office, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting (laptops, desktops, printers, etc.).
  • Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and basic troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or similar are a plus.
