Responsibility
- Provide L1/L2 IT support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and maintain school IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, printers, and AV equipment.
- Deploy, configure, and update educational software and learning management systems (LMS).
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve potential IT disruptions to minimize downtime.
- Assist in cybersecurity measures, including firewall management, antivirus updates, and user access controls.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to procure and implement new IT solutions.
- Conduct regular IT asset inventory and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
- Provide training and guidance to staff and students on IT best practices and new technologies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, preferably in an educational or corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard) and classroom technology (e.g., interactive whiteboards, projectors).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and data protection protocols.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-service-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
