Responsibility

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain network security, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data backups.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, escalating complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
  • Conduct regular system checks and updates to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document IT processes, procedures, and solutions for future reference.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement IT improvements.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar technical role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, TCP/IP, and basic cybersecurity principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or similar are a plus.
