Responsibility
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for healthcare applications, EMR/EHR systems, and clinical software.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a healthcare IT environment.
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and security to ensure HIPAA/GDPR compliance and data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy, configure, and maintain healthcare-specific IT solutions.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of end-users on new systems and updates.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Participate in after-hours support and on-call rotations as needed for critical system maintenance.
- Proactively identify and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT support, with a focus on healthcare systems (EMR, PACS, HL7, etc.) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, networking, and database management.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) and remote support tools.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR) and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL are a plus.
