Responsibility
- Provide first-level IT support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, laptops, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windows/macOS and application-related problems, including email, VPN, and collaboration tools.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory and other identity management systems.
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and security checks to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Assist in deploying and upgrading IT infrastructure, including workstations, printers, and mobile devices.
- Document IT issues, solutions, and procedures to improve knowledge sharing and efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, desktop engineering, or helpdesk roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) and remote support tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or similar are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
