Responsibility
- Maintain and troubleshoot IT systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Manage and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring all devices are functional and calibrated.
- Install, configure, and update software and operating systems across campus devices.
- Monitor network security and implement measures to protect against cyber threats.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining audio-visual equipment for lectures and events.
- Document IT processes, troubleshooting steps, and lab procedures for future reference.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers for IT and lab equipment procurement and repairs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, system administration, or lab management.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and maintenance procedures is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional are advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
