Responsibility
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime for end-users.
- Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of server infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and update system policies, security protocols, and software deployments.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and procedures to build a comprehensive knowledge base.
- Conduct regular system checks and preventive maintenance to proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Deliver excellent customer service by communicating technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical users.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar technical role, with a strong understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as common productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Basic knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations.
- Familiarity with active directory, user account management, and basic server administration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
