PT Wibi Digital Technology is currently seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Jakarta Selatan. As we continue to scale our digital infrastructure, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our systems is our top priority. In this role, you will be the frontline defender of our digital perimeter, working on cutting-edge security technologies to mitigate risks and neutralize threats.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about cybersecurity and has a deep understanding of network architecture, defensive security, and incident response. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and ensure our internal and external systems remain resilient against evolving cyber threats.
Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust network and system security architectures.
- Monitor security infrastructure in real-time to detect, analyze, and mitigate potential threats or anomalies.
- Manage, configure, and optimize enterprise-grade firewalls, VPNs, and Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security gaps.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure integration of new technologies and cloud services.
- Develop and document security policies, incident response plans, and standard operating procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threat vectors, and industry-standard security compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of professional experience in an IT Security or Network Security role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and other networking protocols.
- Proven expertise in managing firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto) and security monitoring tools.
- Experience with cloud security frameworks (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is highly preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or CISM are a major plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good command of both written and spoken Indonesian and English.
