Responsibility
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of IT solutions for retail department stores, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify technology gaps and propose innovative solutions to enhance retail operations.
- Oversee the integration of POS systems, inventory management, CRM, and e-commerce platforms.
- Develop and maintain IT roadmaps, ensuring scalability and future-proofing of retail technology infrastructure.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and data security protocols in all retail IT solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to IT teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 3 years in a retail or e-commerce environment.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing retail IT solutions, including POS, inventory, and CRM systems.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics in a retail context.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or .NET, and familiarity with retail-specific software.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Certifications in IT architecture (e.g., TOGAF, AWS, or Microsoft Azure) are a plus.
