In this role, you will be the guardian of our digital infrastructure, ensuring that all information systems, products, and services meet the rigorous quality standards our clients expect.
As an IT Quality Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between technical development and business requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify potential bottlenecks, execute robust testing strategies, and ensure that every release provides a seamless user experience. Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for information systems.
- Analyze business requirements to ensure they are testable and align with technical project goals.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to identify system defects.
- Document, track, and escalate bugs and issues using industry-standard project management tools.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve software defects and optimize system performance.
- Conduct post-release monitoring to ensure system stability and compliance with defined quality benchmarks.
- Provide regular reporting on QA metrics and project status to the management team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or IT auditing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries and conducting database validation.
- Experience with automated testing tools and manual testing frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively in an onsite team environment in Davao City.
