Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily IT operations for sensor solutions, ensuring high availability and performance of systems.
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and sensor-based applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT operations with airport and business objectives, driving operational excellence.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive solutions to prevent downtime.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security protocols to safeguard data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to evaluate, procure, and deploy new technologies that enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present reports on IT operations, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in sensor technologies or airport IT environments.
- Proven expertise in managing IT infrastructure, networks, servers, and cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of ITIL frameworks, cybersecurity best practices, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with sensor integration, IoT devices, or real-time data processing systems is highly desirable.
- Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or CCNA are advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, contract-based role with a focus on delivering results within tight deadlines.
