Responsibility
- Design, configure, and deploy LAN/WAN, VPN, and firewall solutions to meet business requirements.
- Monitor and maintain servers, switches, routers, and network security systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and system-related issues with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to assess, upgrade, and optimize existing infrastructure.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and redundancy protocols for critical systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and junior team members.
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports for compliance and auditing.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices through self-study and training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in network and system administration.
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei networking devices and protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms.
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and cybersecurity principles.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to learning.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication and documentation skills.
