Responsibility
- Monitor network performance 24/7 using advanced tools to detect and resolve issues proactively.
- Troubleshoot and escalate critical network incidents to ensure minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement network upgrades and maintenance activities.
- Document network configurations, incidents, and resolutions for future reference.
- Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and external clients as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotations to address after-hours network emergencies.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in network operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in network operations or a similar IT role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking protocols.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG).
- Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, or other networking hardware.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and clients.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
