Responsibility
- Supervise and maintain the companyâs network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and wireless systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of servers, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot network issues, and implement proactive measures to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices for network security, data protection, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Lead IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure expansions, while coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Manage IT inventory, including hardware, software, and licenses, ensuring cost-effective procurement and asset tracking.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT infrastructure with business goals and support digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience in IT network and infrastructure management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong expertise in network technologies (Cisco, Juniper, or similar), firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Hands-on experience with server administration (Windows/Linux), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and storage solutions (SAN/NAS).
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios) and scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, including threat detection, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are a plus.
