Responsibility
- Provide first-level technical support to employees via IT Online Job Requests, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Support the deployment and updating of software applications across the organization.
- Monitor and maintain IT inventory, including tracking assets, licenses, and equipment status.
- Collaborate with the IT team to resolve system outages, performance issues, and user access problems.
- Assist in basic network administration tasks, such as IP configuration, user account management, and access permissions.
- Document IT processes, troubleshooting steps, and solutions for future reference.
- Participate in IT projects, such as system migrations, security patches, or infrastructure upgrades, under supervision.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Windows/macOS/Linux operating systems and common productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose technical issues methodically.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to interact with non-technical users.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies and IT best practices.
- Prior experience with helpdesk support, IT internships, or personal tech projects is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
