Responsibility
- Provide remote and on-site technical support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral devices.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues efficiently.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and security patches.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory and other systems.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential IT issues before they escalate.
- Assist in IT infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
- Document all support cases, solutions, and procedures for knowledge base maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance IT service delivery and user experience.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in desktop support, IT helpdesk, or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS, Microsoft Office Suite, and enterprise software.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk).
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, or holidays as required.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or ITIL are a plus.
