Responsibility
- Supervise and mentor a team of IT support technicians, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to SLAs.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, workstations, and peripheral devices.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and security protocols to safeguard company data and systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate rapid resolution to minimize downtime.
- Manage backup and disaster recovery processes to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Evaluate and deploy new technologies, software, and hardware to enhance infrastructure efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT infrastructure with business objectives and user needs.
- Prepare reports on IT performance, incidents, and resolutions for senior management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in IT Support, with at least 6 months in a supervisory or leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), networking protocols, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with backup and recovery systems, virtualization, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, cybersecurity best practices, and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are a plus.
