Responsibility
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware, including servers, workstations, and peripheral devices.
- Manage and optimize local and wide-area networks (LAN/WAN), ensuring high availability and security.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the procurement and inventory management of IT equipment, ensuring cost-effective and scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement system upgrades, patches, and cybersecurity measures.
- Monitor network performance and capacity, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior IT staff on hardware/software best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Document IT processes, network diagrams, and hardware configurations for compliance and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT hardware support, network administration, or a similar role.
- Proven expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and hardware troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or HP networking equipment and server management.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments and virtualization technologies.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
