Responsibility
- Provide day-to-day technical support to retail staff, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Ensure system reliability and uptime for critical retail applications, POS systems, and IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-border teams to align IT operations with business objectives and regional requirements.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity, security, and performance across retail locations.
- Develop and maintain IT documentation, including SOPs, user guides, and inventory records.
- Support data backup, recovery, and disaster preparedness to safeguard business continuity.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers to procure IT equipment and manage service contracts.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role, preferably in retail or multi-location environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems, networking, and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with POS systems, retail software, and inventory management tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for cross-border IT projects and support.
