Responsibility
- Execute and manage application and system deployments according to scheduled release cycles.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and error-free deployments.
- Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools).
- Monitor deployment activities and troubleshoot issues in real-time to minimize downtime.
- Maintain documentation of deployment procedures, configurations, and post-deployment validations.
- Implement and enforce security best practices during the deployment process.
- Optimize deployment strategies to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
- Provide post-deployment support and coordinate rollback procedures if necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Deployment Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role in a fintech or IT environment.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
