Responsibility
- Coordinate and provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, and network-related issues across multiple locations.
- Manage and maintain IT inventory, including laptops, peripherals, and software licenses, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of workstations, printers, and other IT equipment for new and existing employees.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and ensure timely delivery of IT services.
- Monitor system performance, security protocols, and backup processes to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on IT best practices, software usage, and cybersecurity awareness.
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of IT incidents, service requests, and resolutions using ticketing systems.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, administration, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues in a Windows and/or macOS environment.
- Familiarity with IT service management tools (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow, or similar) and remote support software.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator are a plus.
