As an IT Business Analyst, you will serve as the bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business needs into actionable IT solutions. Responsibility
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders to define clear project scopes and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, development, and end-users) to design and implement effective IT solutions.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired business processes, proposing improvements.
- Develop and maintain detailed business process models, use cases, and user stories to guide development teams.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and surveys to gather insights and validate requirements.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of software vendors/tools, ensuring alignment with business needs and budget constraints.
- Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Provide training and support to end-users during system rollouts and transitions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the public sector or IT-driven environments.
- Proven expertise in requirements gathering, process modeling (BPMN), and UML diagrams.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Familiarity with public sector regulations, compliance standards, and digital transformation frameworks is a plus.
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or ITIL are highly advantageous.
