Responsibility
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across the hotel.
- Install, configure, and maintain audiovisual equipment for meetings, events, and guest rooms.
- Monitor and manage IT systems, including servers, workstations, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by staff or guests promptly.
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are followed to protect sensitive information.
- Collaborate with vendors for IT equipment procurement, repairs, and upgrades.
- Train staff on basic IT and AV operations to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain documentation of IT assets, configurations, and support tickets.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or AV Technician, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and audiovisual equipment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications in IT (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) or AV technologies are a plus.
- Familiarity with hospitality management software is advantageous.
