Responsibility
- Lead and execute end-to-end IT audit assignments, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting for technology areas such as cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise systems.
- Assess the effectiveness of IT controls, governance frameworks, and compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, COBIT, NIST) to mitigate risks and align with industry standards.
- Identify and document IT risks, control gaps, and vulnerabilities, providing actionable recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate audit findings, facilitate remediation, and ensure timely closure of issues.
- Develop and maintain audit methodologies, tools, and templates to enhance efficiency and consistency in audit processes.
- Stay abreast of emerging technology trends, threats, and regulatory changes (e.g., GDPR, PDPA) to proactively address risks.
- Mentor and coach junior audit team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Prepare clear, concise, and executive-ready audit reports with prioritized recommendations and business impact analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field. Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CIA are highly preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in IT auditing, risk management, or cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a managerial or lead role.
- Proven expertise in auditing IT infrastructure, applications, and controls (e.g., networks, databases, ERP systems, cloud platforms like AWS/Azure).
- Strong knowledge of audit standards and frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, SOC 2) and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, PDPA).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex technical and business risks.
- Superior communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with audit tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA, TeamMate) and familiarity with data analytics for auditing.
- Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. Fluency in English is mandatory.
