Responsibility
- Monitor and assess ICT systems for vulnerabilities, threats, and compliance gaps.
- Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, and encryption standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential security breaches.
- Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into system development and maintenance.
- Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity risks.
- Investigate and resolve security incidents, documenting findings and recommendations.
- Stay updated on emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements in information security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT security, risk management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in network security, vulnerability assessment tools, and SIEM systems.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, or other cybersecurity frameworks.
- Experience with firewall configuration, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
